Emory Theory & Models Working Group

The Theory and Models Working Group at Emory University is an informal, but regularly meeting, group of students and faculty interested in learning more about, developing, analyzing, and publishing social science research based on “formal models” including, but not limited to, decision-theoretic, game-theoretic, social choice-theoretic, and computational models of individual and group decision-making.

Activities include brainstorming and collaboration about ongoing and future projects, practice presentations, and reading others’ work. We occasionally host outside speakers, as well.

All are welcome! If you would like to receive information— including the zoom link — about the working group’s meetings and speakers, please use this form: (https://forms.gle/bxNkvkjALcj8NY689)

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the faculty coordinators, Professor John Patty (jwpatty@gmail.com) and/or Professor Elizabeth Maggie Penn (elizabeth.m.penn@gmail.com)
